What’s the buzz about?

Hi, I’m Mary Wetherbee: like a  that tells the weather (minus the -a). I am a designer and writer from Philadelphia currently based in Munich, but always on the move. I have lived in Italy for two years, and love leaning into challenges, particularly those that come with cross cultural communication in my approach to design.

I specialize in multilingual typography, illustration, branding, and publishing (or pubblicitá in Italian). When I’m not designing I enjoy learning languages, getting lost in a bookstore, experimenting with film photography, and connecting with people from around the world.
